Thilak Agencies was started in the year 1991 as a small family partnership concern for doing agency business and appointed as stockist for M/S Lipton India Ltd, for selling Lipton Tea and Dalda Vanaspati for Madurai North Area.
In 1992, one fine morning , Thiru. Digpal Singh, the present Vice President of Bunge India Pvt Ltd met us as then Sales officer for Masterline. and the asked us to do Masterline business also.
We were little hesitant as we have no idea about Vanaspati Business at that time, but he assured us and said that " I will be with you and guide you”. We agreed.Then Thilak Traders was started in the year 1992 as a seperate concern for doning exclusively Masterline Bakey Vanaspati Business.
when we started doing Masterline business, the stocks were very much available in the Wholesale market only. As per the idea of Thiru. Digpal sir, We changed our strategy and started doing distribution marketing directly to every Bakery in and around Madurai by our own auto.
With the support of dedicated Masterline sales team and Masterline Test Bakery in Banglore,we made lot of demos in Bakeries, conducting Bakery meetings, cake decorating contests and developving new recipes for variety of cakes and cookies. We developed not only our business and also friendly relationship with our customers as our family. Our dedicated and sincere staff team also helped us lot for doing business successfully despite heavy competition from all sides in the market . We thank all our Suppliers, Customers, staff and workers for making this happen.
